What makes Christmas?

Hi everyone so for my post today I am going to be doing the 'What makes Christmas?' TAG. This was created by Becky who blogs over at The Little Blog of Beauty. When I seen her post on this I thought I just had to do it as I haven't really got that many Christmas themed posts for this month so far. I have used the picture from Becky's blog for this post.

All you have to do for this tag is to list 5 things that make Christmas for you.

So here are my 5.

Christmas Markets.

I love walking round the Christmas market in my local town centre just before Christmas. It always make me feels so much more festive. From stalls selling gift ideas, food, drink to trees and decorations there is always something there for everyone.

Food.

Who doesn't love a good Christmas dinner? I am not normally a fan of Sunday dinners but Christmas dinner is different in my eyes. Pigs in blankets are my personal favourite and also these cheese wrapped in bacon I love them too! Can't forget the buffet we have on Christmas Day night too.

Family.

This is an obvious one. Christmas is all about spending time with family. This year I am with my dad and his family so I will see them all Christmas. Next year I am with my mum and her family. Christmas and family just go together.

Snow.

I know I live in England and it hardly ever snows at Christmas but we can imagine it, right? I remember one year about 4 years ago it did snow on Christmas day, wasn't much but it still did. Every year I hope for a White Christmas.

Christmas films/ specials.

There is nothing better than cosy on the sofa or in bed with nice hot chocolate watching a Christmas film or tv special. My favourite TV special has to be Gavin and Stacey. I do love to watch Elf too.

Random Ramble

Hi everyone. Okay so it's 1am at the moment and I feel like writing a post. I have no idea what I am going to be writing so I am just letting it all come off the top of my head.

First off I want to mention that I know day 7 of Blogmas never happened, I have pleurisy at the moment so I am ill and stuck in bed most of the time. I have loads of posts written up but its just finding the energy to be able to take pictures.

. Which gets me onto the next point my camera. For my birthday last year I got myself a Nikon camera. (I can't remember the exact one as I am at my dad's) It was a great camera for taking blogging pictures. Sadly last week I went to turn it on, nothing happened apart from the green light on the power button came on. I googled it and it is a common problem! I am so annoyed so I am currently using my Nikon coolpix s2500 for my blog pictures until I can save up for a new one which will be after Christmas.

I also want to mention how far I think my blog has come already. I know that I still have a long way to go compared to so many fellow bloggers but to say I only started my blog up in October and I have only really started blogging properly this month but I already have nearly 60 followers and over 400 page views. As I said before I know that to most people that is nothing. With my previous blog it seemed to take me ages to start getting views and stuff but I am so grateful with how well I feel Kt Beauty is going.

Now on to what I am hoping to do with Kt beauty next year. I am hoping that I will start making it more personal, include a picture of me and things like that but right now I am still very anxious about doing due to everything with my old blog. After I have added the personal touch to it I am hoping to go into YouTube. I really want to do this but I am no where near ready to go near this yet.

Well this has been a bit of random mumble jumble of a post hasn't it? I liked it though so I may make it a bit of a series for whenever I feel like I need to do a random talk with you all.

45 Disney questions

Hey everyone so for today's post I am doing a none beauty related post again.. sorry!!

This post is going to be the 45 Disney questions post. I found this online as I wanted to a Disney themed post, I had seen the Disney tag floating around but I wanted to a different one so I went for this one instead. 

If you are a Disney fan like me then carry on reading.

1. Favourite Disney movie? At the moment I am going to go for the obvious Frozen but I loved Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc before Frozen came out.

2. Walt Disney World or Disneyland? I have only been to Disneyland Paris so I have to say that one although Disney World is somewhere I would love to go.

3. Favourite Disney character? Minnie Mouse. 

4. The first Disney movie you remember seeing at the cinema? Monsters Inc, I went to see it twice.

5. What type of Disney item do you collect the most? Has to be cuddly toys.

6. Your favourite Disney song? Zip a dee doo dah. It always reminds me of when I went to Disneyland, was being played constantly around the park.

7. Favourite attraction/ride at the park? I'm not a huge fan of rides but I loved the Peter Pan ride and the Haunted Mansion. Oh and Its a small world.

8. What is your dream job at Disney? Dressing up as one of the characters, preferably a princess haha.

9. Who's the one character in the park you wouldn't want to miss? Minnie Mouse!

10. What is your most treasured Disney item? My snow globe I bought when I was there.

11. Which Disney voice actor would you most like to meet? I really don't know about this one!!

12. Favourite Disney film that isn't a classic? Hmm Finding Nemo or Monsters Inc.

13. If you could say anything to Walt Disney right now, what would it be? Please can you give me a job?!

14. Your favourite snack to get around the Disney Park? When I was there I was constantly getting the hot dog with cheese on top. Yummy.

15. Your favourite parade/ show at the park? I only seen one parade when I was there and that was the one they do in late afternoon, so I would have to say that one.

16. Flounder, Sebastian or Scuttle? Flounder, He is soo cute!

17. Your favourite Disney memory? Has to be when I walked through the gates for the first time and seen the castle! I was only young and at the time it felt so magical seeing it in real life.

18. Do you have a favourite pair of mickey ears? Yep pink glittery ones.

19. If you could, what 'forgotten' Disney princess would you add to the official line up? Tinkerbell? Does she count? haha.

20. Your favourite princess dress/ outfit? I'm dressing up as Snow White for my best friends birthday party this month so I would have to go with Snow White.

21. Your favourite Disney soundtrack? Frozen, I know all the words to all the songs.

22. Genie, Abu, Carpet, Iago or Rajah? Abu.

23. Favourite restaurant at the park? I have two, neither I would call a restaurant really but I loved Buffalo Bills, that was brilliant and also New York Style Sandwiches. We didn't go to any proper restaurants. 

24. How did you first discover the magic of Disney? I was brought up watching loads of Disney films so I guess it grew from that.

25. What attraction are you most likely to go to when you first get to the park? Hmm I'm not sure, maybe have a walk around the full park and see what grabs us in.

26. Your favourite iconic moment? Hmm I'm not quiet sure what this one means.

27. What's the saddest moment for you in any Disney film? One that I remember getting me was the end of Toy Story 3 when Andy left his toys with the little girl.

28. Best Disney kiss? Aurora and Phillip.

29. If you could live in any world from a Disney movie what would it be? The game from Wreck it Ralph, looks so cool.

30. Favourite Disney musical based on an animation? I haven't seen any :(.

31. Which Disney princess has the best side kick? Ariel, Flounder is so cute.

32. If you could have a party themed around one Disney film, which would it be? OMG there is so many, I recon Little Mermaid, an underwater themed party. So fun.

33. Are you the only one in family that is obsessed with Disney? No. My Auntie is obsessed she used to work in the Disney store then they closed it down. My cousin is too and so is my Stepsister.

34. Lumiere, Mrs Potts, Cogsworth or Chip? Chip. 

35. What are your top 5 favourite Disney blogs on Tumblr? I don't have Tumblr.

36. If you could choose the plot to a new Disney movie what would it be? Something real. None of the fairy tale stuff. We can all dream a handsome prince will come and rescue us from a tall tower........ They are good but then you grow up and realise its not going to happen.

37. Favourite hotel at the park? New York Hotel at Paris. The one I stayed in.

38. Which Disney movie do you turn to when you are sad or upset? Any really depends what I feel like watching.

39. The Aladdin show or The Little Mermaid show? Little Mermaid.

40. Would you plan to have your honeymoon at a Disney park? No but how cool would it be to get married there.....

41. Favourite piece of Disney clothing to wear? At the moment I am loving wearing my Minnie and Mickey Christmas jumper.

42. Post a picture of yourself that is Disney related. I don't have any.

43. Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck? Mickey Mouse.

44. What Disney movie would you like to see in the next Kingdom of Hearts? Frozen would be fun.

50 Facts about me

Hey everyone so for todays post I am going to be doing the 50 facts about me TAG. I have only just realised I haven't yet done a post on me so none of you know anything about me!

Well I am about to change that and give you 50 facts about myself.

1. KT are my initials for my first and middle name.

2. I have blogged before but stopped when some girls from school found out and started giving me bother about it. Meaning now I am a bit nervous of putting a picture of me or including my real name on here.

3. I am 18.

4. I am learning to drive and hope that I will of passed my test by next summer. 

5. I already have the money to buy my first car.

6. I am from the north west of England.

7. I have three tattoo's but had to get my first one redone.

8. I am a Libra.

9. I am not that keen on alcohol.

10. I am work in a shop.

11. I am the worst and saving money.

12. I am the messiest person ever.

13. I am obsessed with Marilyn Monroe.

14. I love Disney.

15. I have a serious crush on Peter Andre and have done since he was in Im A Celeb all them many years ago.

16. I love watching youtube videos and hope to one day start my own channel.

Superdrug Tea Tree Scrub

Hey everyone so today's post is going to be a review on the Superdrug Tea Tree Facial Scrub.
I mentioned this scrub around two months ago in my skincare post and I said I was going to review them all soon and here is the first review from my skincare products.
I like to use this scrub every other day to make my skin feel a lot cleaner and it does do that as my skin doesn't feel as oily after using it.
I use this after cleaning as an extra step in my routine.
I have noticed that it does make my skin burn a little bit, not too much but It is noticeable.
The smell of the tea tree is quiet strong and does make my eyes water a little.
In general I do like this scrub but I think I would look for another one to use after this one runs about but I'm not saying I wouldn't repurchase it.
This costs £3.29 and is available from Superdrug.

The Christmas Tag 2014

Hey everyone, so today's post is going to be a little bit festive! It is finally December which means Christmas is nearly upon us all. I will be doing the Christmas Tag for you today.

1.  What is your favourite Christmas film? I love Elf and the Muppets Christmas Carol, not exactly classics.

2. Have you ever had a white Christmas? Sadly, I don't think I ever have. It never snows on Christmas here.

3. Where do you usually spend your Christmas? I alternate every Christmas. This year I will be spending it in my home town with my dad and his family where as last year I was away in my mums home town with her family.

4. What is your favourite Christmas song? I love Mariah Carey all I want for Christmas. Or a new favourite of mine is Dominick the Italian Christmas Donkey, which I heard in work a few weeks ago and have sung it everyday since!

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas eve? No but the years I am with my dad I tend to open my mums presents on the 23rd before I go to my dads.

6. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dancer, Prancer, Comit, Cupid, Blitzen, Rudolph,Vixen and Dasher. I think that's them all.

7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to this year? New pyjamas on Christmas Eve.

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake? For the first time ever I have a real tree! Never had one before they have always been fake.

9. What is your all time favourite Christmas food? Pigs in blankets. I love them.

10. Be honest: Do you live giving or receiving gifts? Once I finally get round to getting peoples gift I like giving them but at the time or writing this post I have bought the grand total of 0.

11. What is the best gift you have ever received? I really can't think off the top of my head.

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the Christmas season? New York, how amazing would that be!

13. Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail miserably? I like to think I'm a pro but secretly I know I am far from it.

14. Most memorable Christmas moment? Again I really can't think haha I am bad at this but there has been that many I cant seem to think.

15.  What made you realise the truth about Santa? What truth???? ;) haha.

16. Do you make New Year's resolutions and do you stick to them? I do make them but fail them every year.

17. What makes the holidays special for you? Spending time with my family for sure.

Rimmel- Moisture Renew Lipstick; 210 Fancy

Hey everyone so today's post is going to be on the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in the shade 210 Fancy. 

I picked this lipstick around a month ago as I was looking for a pink colour lipstick that I could wear everyday for work. Since I bought it, it has been my go to lipstick. 

It's a lovely light pink colour with hint of shimmer running through it to add a little bit of sparkle to my everyday makeup.

I love the packaging of this lipstick too. I love how the lid comes right down the full lipstick, not sure why but that is a love of mine!.

This lasts around 4 hours on my lips so I do sometimes need to top it up!

It costs £6.49 and is available in store at Boots, Superdrug and online.

GOSH- 9 Shades; To enjoy in New York.

Hey everyone so today's post is going to be on the GOSH 9 shade eyeshadow palette in 'To enjoy in New York'.

I picked this up a couple of months ago when Superdrug had a 2 for £10 deal on GOSH eye products which is a great deal as this palette should of been £9.99 by its self. 

First off I'm going to say that I love the package it is a lovely compact black matte case with GOSH written in a glossy black colour. It also has a big mirror inside which is always handy.
The inside of the palette has 3 rows of shades. The top row has pink colours. The middle row is purple colours and the bottom row are neutral colours. All of the colours have a hint of shimmer to them.
All in all I think these are really good shadows. They are all highly pigmented and are long lasting and I would definitely buy more.
I can't find this one online so I am not sure if they have stopped doing it now.

Blogmas and Update; Where have I been?

Hey everyone! I know in my last post I mentioned I had not been blogging due to a family problem. Not long after that post I had to go down to my family in Sheffield as my nana didn't have long left to live. Sadly I didn't make it in time to see her and she passed away the day before I got there. I was there for two weeks with my family before returning home to go to work. I was also full of cold which has now led to Pleurisy so now I am ill in bed which means I have loads of time to blog!

Starting from the 1st of December they're will be a post every single day up until the 31st. If of course I can keep on top of this I will be carrying on through the new year. I am starting to write up the posts now in preparation for Monday. 

If you have any post suggestions you would like to see on here over the next month then please let me know and I will be sure to try and add them to my schedule.

I will also be changing my blog into a Christmas theme with Christmas colours, theme and header for the month of December to give my blog the Christmas theme.

My night with Pete.

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of weeks or so, I am currently having a family issue which I will probably go into a bit more when I feel ready to discuss but right now I don't. This post isn't beauty related but I really wanted to share with you the amazing night I had last week.

Anyway last week on 27th October I went to see Peter Andre live at Blackpool! I have had a huge crush on him for around 10 years now so finally getting to see him live was amazing. I was sat 15 rows from the front which was bloody good, could see him perfect. I also have to add his support act Digital Kid were fab!! To say they were only around  14.

Junior also made a little appearance on the stage showing off his dance moves. He is going to be a heart breaker when he grows up!

Enough of the rambling on I am going to stick some of the pictures on here for you to see.

Sorry for the random post but just wanted to share it with you and pop something up seen as though I vanished.

Lazy Day Routine.

Hey everyone so I was just watching the lovely Gabby from Gabriella/Velvet Ghost. New video on Youtube on her Lazy day routine and I thought it was a great day of doing it so I put the questions she used into a blog post for you all to read.

1. What is your lazy day skin routine? I would probably just use what ever cleanser we have in the shower at that time to go over my full face then my usual moisturiser.

2. What is your lazy day makeup? If I am having a lazy day chances are I won't be wearing any makeup.

3. What is your lazy day hair style? Either scraped back into a pony tail or just down natural and natural.

4. What is your lazy day scent? Next just pink, I have the candle and the body spray so I tend to use both on a lazy day.

5. What is your lazy day snack? A cheese baguette from the local sandwich shop at the end of my road!

6. What is your favourite pamper product? Anything from lush, got to love a lush bath bomb or bubble bar.

7.  What is your lazy day drink? Probably a bottle of vimto.

My Skin Care Products.

Hey everyone so in this post I am going to be giving you a quick over view on the skin care products I use on a daily basis. I am going to be doing in depth reviews on each of these products over the next couple of posts so keep your eyes peeled for them. As you can see all of these are Superdrug's own brand, mainly because I love them and they are super cheap.

I start off by removing my eye makeup with Superdrug's own my little star fragrance free baby wipes.

I then move on to the Superdrug tea tree lemon facial wash all over my face to take off my foundation etc.

I then just sweep over my face with the Superdrug Simply Pure refreshing toner over my face.

Every other day I use the Superdrug tea tree exfoliating scrub all over my face to give it a good old clean.

I then go back over with the same toner as before.

To finish off I use the simply pure light moisturiser over my full face.

Autumn Tag.

Hey everyone, today I thought I would do the Autumn Tag for you all.

I really can't believe its Autumn already, doesn't feel like a week ago I was lying by the pool in Ibiza and now we are getting ready for halloween!

Here are the questions to the Autumn Tag:

1. What is your favourite thing about Autumn?

I love having the fire on watching the xfactor in my pjs and dressing gown with a hot chocolate. Soo cosy and I love it.

2. Favourite drink? It has to be hot chocolate.

3. Favourite candle? I love any that smell of vanilla.

4. Best lipstick? I would love to say a dark purple or a dark red but I'm not that brave so I just wear whatever I normally wear.

5. Go to moisturiser? The one I'm using currently is the Clean & Clear Dual action oil free moisturiser.

6. Go to colour for the eyes? Any brown type of colour.

7. Favourite band or singer? I don't have a favourite I like a bit of everything really.

8.  Favourite outfit to wear? Jeans, ugg boots, a jumper and a scarf.

9. Autumn Treat?  A lush bath.

10. Favourite place to be? At home in the warm!

What's in my makeup bag?

Hello everyone so for my post today I thought I would show you what is in my make-up bag.

My make-up bag is the Zoella guinea pig make-up bag from Superdrug. I love Zoella and have done for ages and I love guinea pigs so this make-up bag is just perfect for me! Its perfect size for all of make-up products too.

On my face I wear the Makeup Revolution face primer. On top of that I wear the Maybelline satin liquid foundation.I then use the Makeup Revolution bronzer. On my cheeks I wear the Makeup Revolution Blush palette in Hot spice. Then finish it off with the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. 

For eyes I wear the Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palette in Girls On Film. I use the L'oreal Blackbuster eyeliner to line my lash line. On my lashes I am wearing the Collection Big Fake Curves mascara. For my eyebrows I use the MUA eyebrow pencil.

On my lips I have been wearing 3 Makeup Revolution lipsticks in the shades: Chic, Dazzle and Dare.
